What is your favorite movie? And why?

Mine is Braveheart. Its my favorite because it shows the importance of freedom, and man's innate need to rid itself of tyranny and oppression. It also showed how several few men led an entire movement--and defied an empire. The power of the human spirit, and will to show it.

My best part of Braveheart:

Is when the English King Edward the Longshanks was convening with his military council in the proper way to subdue Scotland and the Scottish rebels. He said:

'Scotland. The problem with scotland is that its filled with Scots'

(his military council laugh at his joke)

'We'll have to reinstitute an old custom, Primae Noctae, First Night. Every English noble lord will have sexual rights to any scottish woman on the night of her wedding.'

(His military council laugh hard and cheer at his proposal)

And Edward the Longshanks ends his dialogue with a pompous English tone, "If we can win them out, we'll Breed them out, Scotland will be Mine."

Finding Nemo, because of its sheer beauty. I just loved its portrayal of life under the ocean. What was even more amazing was that, thanks to my experience with aquaria, I knew all of the creatures in it were only slightly exaggerated versions of genuine reef denizens!

The most influential move in my life was Annie Hall. Annie and her boyfriend lived in New York, and Annie went out to California in search of fame and fortune. The movie's portrayal of California was meant as negative and satirical but I could see only the wonderful lack of snow and cold. To me anything was worth getting out of the chilly climate of my childhood.

I moved out to California a few years after I saw the movie.

Now I'm back in the frigid East again for business reasons, but I'm not happy :-(.

I see the Philippines as a wonderful tropical environment filled with friendly people. Of course it has flaws of its own, but I'd do anything to get out of the chilly climate of my adulthood ...

it was fantastic, well made and well directed....

then i watch HEAVEN CAN WAIT too after that...

the theme song really captured me... thinking of some friend's friend... friend's relative and his ill father...

maybe you were not born yet when this was very very popular but i want you to listen this song...

I have just finished watching HISTORY OF VIOLENCE...

hilak na sad ko, i always cried everytime i watch this movie, just love it...
