i thought about 3/4 of the world population (Abrahamic followers) believed that place is free of calamity because it is a birthplace of Jesus Christ, a son of God for Christians, birthplace of Jews God and a birthplace of Prophet Mohammad, a messenger of God for Muslims.

so, no one can imagine that this place is not safe for calamity.

Ah, I see. No one can imagine it; therefore, it is not supposed to happen. Hmm...

the holy land is riddled in blood, nong virgil. it is the center of the great crusades (christians against muslims) and the sight of great wars. natural phenomenon does not bias against any location because of religious precedent. especially the holy land.

good point tho. interesting one at it.

this area was in calamity even before the arrival of christ; note the destruction of the jewish templ by the assyrians , and the sacking of jerusalem by the romans. as or muhammad, even before his birth, arabia was in turmoil. there is no place on earth that is free from calamity because there is no perfection, no paradise, no heaven on earth. that is only in the hereafter.

if one reads the tanakh , old testament and the q'uran, then one would know that Providence hailed destruction on the two sister cities of Sodom and Gamorrah. they were not spared, and they were in the holy land.
