Hi all and to Admin, ok lang po ba na nagpa-member ako dito though I'm not a Bohalanon nor from any part of Visayas?

That is mainly the reason why most of my postings here are either English or tagalog, dyutay lang po ang alam ko na bisayan words. I came to know this site when I chance upon its link when one of the articles I posted in one of the Philippine Daily's was posted here in this site, that's how I managed to get to know and eventualy become a member.

Kung di po kayo agree, I will humbly ask the admin of this site to delete my membership.

Dear Gener,

Please donÂ´t get intimidated because Visayan or Bol-anon is spoken which is abvious to this Forum. It is very nice to practice the dialect and this is our venue the Tubag Bohol Forum.
If you are enjoying the english and tagalog part please stay, things which are talked in bisayan and you are curious please forward it to me and I will translate. ( My personal opinion).

You will enjoy your stay. We are like a big family. Where ever you go and you met a Bol-anon the joy is enormous, the feeling is you found somebody like a long lost relative!
Especially here in Germany, I always ask, Bisaya Ka? Asa man sa Bisaya? If the answer is positive , purbidang sadya jamo.

Same here, Tita Tess! If I meet Pinoy-looking in malls or wherever, I just smile and most times Pinoy smile back and then the conversation begins. If from Bohol, almost always, we know common people like one time we attended a party. There was this lady from out of town who said she was also from Tagbilaran. And I said I used to live with my grandparents near the Ice Plant. Then she said, she too! It turned out, she knew my grandfather and her family name was so familiar.

Oh yeah. Naka experience nko ana. One time, I was attending a luncheon for Alyssa's school. I chose a table where there were Pinoy-looking. I smiled at them and said hello but they just ignored me. I was thinking basin Thai to sila and later I heard them talking in Tagalog. The whole time, they didn't talk to me jud as in! Oh well. Too bad for them!
