Wala pa ko nakatilaw ug sagpa pero nakatilaw nako ug nanagpa kas-a. Why?

It's a long story back in high school but I'll try to shorten it. I used to have a very close friend na guy (I won't mention his name because who knows naay nakaila niya ani taga TB). I would say that we were really close friend and no string attached. On our JS Prom night, there were quite few guys who were dancing with me taking their turns and he didn't get a chance to dance with me. As I was about to sit on my chair kay gikapoy na, I fell on the floor with my long gown because someone took my chair. I got up quick and looked behind me and it was my so-called close friend who was shocked looking at me. I didn't say anything to him and I just slapped him once - really hard.

It was the most embarrassing moment of my life on my special night as a Prom Queen, I was shocked myself too then I realized it was my close friend. I didn't talk to him for a week or two and it was hard to avoid him because we walk the same way from UB labay pa sa Coca-Cola ug unahan pa sa Wisdom school. Until the rest of our barkada knew and he asked help from our friends to make amends with me few days before our graduation. He cornered me in one of the rooms sa UB telling our friends secretly to leave us kay mag-explain siya ug mangayo siya pasaylo nako. He confessed na nagkagusto daw siya and he wasn't thinking at all. Nagselos lang jud daw siya. I forgave him pero lahi ra jud after adto nga situation. He's a very smart guy and witty and harworking. Pirme kaming duha himoong Emcee for any activities didto sa UB. At that time I had a childhood sweetheart, so we stayed just friends.

The question is Am I proud of what I did? NO. I surely have regrets for slapping him because everyone knows even the faculty members and the Principal. I felt like I didn't deserve as a Prom Queen title for I lost my temper at that moment kay pwerte jud ulawa nako. $:-\$

It's a very poignant story you shared here. It's like a movie but I believe you this is a true story. Especially that I know the place where you and your best friend walked every night from school towards your home beyond Bohol Wisdom School. And the occasion when it happened was just so awesome. And the reason why he did it - jealousy - was heartrending.

I could not fault your best friend. It was bound to happen -- him falling in love with you.

It seemed to me your best friend took it twice. The first during your prom night. The second when you had to tell him your heart already belonged to someone else.

But he took it as a man. He and you continued to be friends.

I wonder if years after your high school graduation your paths have crossed again.

Kining imong sad story Beth no kay abi ko ug sa mga Pinoy movies ra ni nako nadunggan. Sus pagkaluoy diay imo kaagi tawon oi. Grabe na jud pod imo ninong oi. Makahilak man ni nga story oi. Mao ni nga kind of story na I can't watch on tv or in movies. Ambot jud anything that people suffer di jud ko motan-aw. Pero, if someone like you or any friend moesturya sa iya mga problema or mga kaagi, I will listen and always ready to give comfort. Ay nakadumdum na diay ko na gihapak ko sa akong ulo sa akong uncle si anghing Manoy Pael and I think apil pod Mommy and Daddy adto. hehehehe One time San Juan to nangaligo mi sa tubig dako with matching bawon. Sa kadaghan namo, I think at that time 7 nami kay adto kay I was about 9 years old at that time. Gipangtapok mi sa daplin with stern instruction from Daddy na way mo buwag. Nah kay gahi na jud siguro ko'g ulo sa bata pa, ning buwag jud ko ug ning tan aw ko sa mga bata nangaligo. I saw young kids much shorter than me who were enjoying in the water - floating and like walking. So I said to myself, if they can do it, so can I. I was taller then. I started walking the cold water and then I started sinking. I remembered I was trying so hard to stay afloat but I kept sinking. Mao bitaw, Bob always tells me there's nothing to worry kay he's there for me na and he's the first one in line gyud kuno nga mo protect nako and he's really doing a wonderful job, and still is treating me well (psychologically na ha kay grabeh man gyud akong trauma) every now and then.
Lipay pod ko karon kay kabaw naman ko nga mingdako na akong family because of you all who are so wonderful to me. I can't thank God enough gyud.
