In the Old testament, the 5th dispensation, under the Law, the Jewish people were prohibited
to marry the idolaters, to prevent them from turning their hearts away from God.
"And Ezra the priest stood up and said unto them, ye have transgressed and have
taken strange wives to increase the trespass of Israel" (Ezra 10:10)
"...and separate yourselves from....and from the strange wives"..(Ezra 10:11)
Also seen in the book of Deuteronomy, Nehemiah, etc.
The tribe of Judah, the Jews, are the chosen people of God wherein the Lord Jesus Christ
had chosen to be born into when He dwelt among men through a virgin birth.
In the New Testament, among Gentiles, the saved people are prohibited to marry a heathen
"Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers; for what fellowship hath
righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14)
It's not about interracial marriages but only among faith/doctrinal ramifications.
