Dong, that was last week. Right now, if you go to a Chevron gasoline station, you'll pay a high of 4.43 for a regular gas.

I drove past our gas station today, Wawa, and a regular unleaded was at $3.77 per gallon.

It actually went down 20 cents this past 2 weeks.

This is in New Jersey, btw.

Thank goodness!

This is such a relief to the average and working American. Especially very poor students like me.

I filled my car earlier this weekend; the usual 20 dollar fill up. Then I realized that I got more gas than the usual.

I am so elated to see that gas prices are down jud.

Ang Gasolina dire sa Saudi perting baratoha, barato pa sa tubig. Walay leaded dire kay istrekto sila sa air quality. Duha lang ka klase ang para sa Type 1 Engine (sports car) ug Type 2 Engine (normal car).

Type 1 = 1 Riyals per liter = $0.27 per liter = $1 per Gallon
Type 2 = 0.60 Riyals per liter = $0.16 per liter = $0.60 per Gallon

Tubig (Bottled mineral water) = 2 Riyals per liter = $0.53 per liter

Kung puede pa ikaligo ang gasolina, ako nang gikaligo.

Ang full tank nga 60 liters (16 gallons) = $9.6 lang.

The reason for the decreased prices is that the United States has demanded Opec countries increase oil production for the United States.

That and the fact that the United States has increased domestic oil production; in the coastal waters, in Alaska, and in oil-rich states.

Once again, quick fixes for a much larger gasoline-addiction.

The United States needs to move away from oil production into renewable resources.

Additionally, most of our oil goes to the military.

The United States has thousands of aircraft that consumes fuel.

The United States has 18 super air craft carriers; all of which massive amounts of oil. Individually.

Seriously though, do we really need 18 aircraft carriers?

Why not just mothball 9 and keep 9 active? Its a waste of tax payer's dollars anyways.

I have an analysis to this Lorenzo and this is just a doubt. But this doubt makes me think that the US is really using its brain and using a smart strategy.

Since there is a recession, most of the industries are geopardized and on halt. Hence, I have a doubt that the US is holding its supply because who needs oil anyway? So if supply is less, the prices will go up.

I know that Saudi and the US has a deal that Saudi should produce this much for the US for one year. There is a quota.

Hence, I doubt that there is a surplus of oil in the US and there should be, but they are not releasing it because there is no industry to feed. This surplus oil will just go to the national reserve.

As I know, only the President and the CIA or FBI knows the exact location of the National Reserve. Nobody can touch the national reserve unless needed in war or only during an extreme national catastrophy.

What I know is that the world demand for oil just leveled and did not increase due to the recession that also affected subsidiary companies in Europe and Asia. Production industries which are the main consumer of oil are slowing down.

This is the main reason why OPEC have to increase it's prices in order to fulfil its target in terms of Cash, since they can not increase in volume anymore.

Moreover, the uncertainty of whos gonna win the presidential election has worsened the situation. People are focused on the election instead of investments. Major Companies are on freeze as their strategies and plans are built on policies of the winning president. Companies are flexible, but at this time, they are uncertain.

I have refuel today, it was 1,41 Euro per liter. It changes everyday and every gasoline station they have different prices, it differs about 1 to 2 cent per liter.

still the same here in Sacramento, Dong. Nagpagasolina mi over the weekend and my husband and another guy at the gasoline station were beaming that it's now 3.79. The guy said that it's kinda sad that they were celebrating that gas was 3.79 instead of almost 5 when not so long ago, it was less than 2 dollars.

I can still remember back in 1998 when gas prices were still $1.10 per gallon.

I saw in the late evening news three nights ago about a gasoline station operator closing his business but not before selling his inventory to 35 cents per gallon, the cost of gasoline when he started his business some years ago. He said he lost close to 10k dollars for that move but that's how he wanted to close his gasoline business.

Ingon sila tungod sa hurricane Ike, mag-shut down kono ang refinery sa south Texas. Today, Monday (9-15-08) ning ubos ug gamay tag $4.67 to a gallon.

usually the price of goods and services are dictated by the price of oil. over the lat few weeks, there has been a decrease in oil prices with the decrease of prices in the world market. this has spurred the transport sector to demand that oil companies lower their selling price of oil prices proportionately, and oil product retailers have been bring down the prices of what they sell. however, if there are no adjustments in the prices of goods and services including transportation fares which is proportionate with the decrease in oil prices, then any oil price decrease will only benefit two sectors of the economy and they are the transport sector and industry whoare the direct users of oil products. the consumers (you and me) who feed the transport sector as well as industry will be the ultimate losers.

the price of gas will drop till november since in the oil contracts of november already settled. the increase in oil today would reflect to december's futures contract.

BNC, maayo nga mi arang-arang na ang fuel sa atoa. Apan ang mga prices sa palaliton taas mang gihapon.

Dire sa KSA, it was anounced that fuel prices will go down by Mid November. The previous price of SR0.65 will come down to SR0.45 x 12 = P5.40 pesos per liter ($0.12 cents per liter).

Also the King mandated that prices of all locally produced commodities will be reduced up to 50%. The royal family is very powerful here and they can close any company who violates by thier rules.

there are still rollbacks to be made within the next few months (nov. and dec.) which they said will cost 5 pesos. in fact LPG prices just went down by an average of 9 pesos in the past 2 weeks and will surely go down further more hopefully.

$4.17 per gallon here in Sacramento, that's the regular gas. Other corners I saw $4.20.

It's now $2.53! Amazing.

About GALOC Oil in Palawan, I strongly suggest we should close it.

We are buying crude oil from it at $80 per barrel. While, Dubai crude is at around $60 per barrel.

Why sacrifice our seas for potential oil spill if we can buy cheaper oil from the Middle East.

GALOC Oil venture is a lossing enterprise. All parties are lossing, but the biggest lossers are us, the Filipinos because we have the biggest risk.

Palawan is home for the underground river, a promising winner for the New Seven Wonders of the World and a great tourist attraction. We should not combine Oil and Tourism Industry.
