not just give you the look, apilan pag 'you're not smart, silly'. ulbo kaspa sa mommy kay wa maanad. na-hurt ang pride. ako? morag bata pud makig-sumpaki hahaha
my older son took from me his love of reading encyclopedia, current events, history and geography. so he asked a lot of questions and tell us a lot of information. you know, the 'did you know' stuff.
Jig,
You remind me of what my father used to do when my sister and I were younger; he would test us the capitals of different countries. As a child, I was intrigued and took our World Book Globe and would spin it, and whatever country my finger landed on, I would ask my father. To the teeth, he knew.
My sister and I were so impressed that we tried remembering as well. lol. In regards to educating children and fostering intellectual growth, this is the ideal. We were always encouraged to ask questions and to find out the answers / reasoning for things.
This is good that you are encouraging your children in this regard, it is the gold standard to nourish a learning-environment for children. It facilitates memory retention and conceptualization.
