Hello everyone, i know i haven't been here for a long time as I am busy with my school, i'm struggling jud tawon.

Now it's my 2nd week of project week, and i need to know how much does it cost to send an advertisement on television, radio and newspapers, but I can't find it in the internet. even the advertising company itself doesn't didn't put any prices on their website, on how much it cost. It is so frustrating project

I hope that someone here knows even just a little information. If you don't wish to post your answer here, you can send me PM, thanks!

Advertisement is a stong medium this you should know first hand so you wonÂ´t get surprise at the charge. Regarding television, depends on prime time say for example 8.oo is a prime time. A cousin worked for GMA soliciting ads, mahina na ang 1/4 million pesos sa prime time (5-7 seconds) .
Just the same with newspapers and magazines, there are prime pages like second, last page (back to back), this is because the first and last info lingers longer in your memory. Kon pila depende sa readership sa magazine. In your case simply ask a magazine/newspaper that you are placing an ads

Ang success sa usa ka product nag depende sa iyang exposure sa targeted audience group. Importanted sab ang story board sa imong advertising kung mo ha-om or makadani ba sa imong intended na target audience.

Depende pod na "rating" sa palabas nga iyang kasikbit. Pananglitan ibagawas ang Ad in between highly rated program kay si Sharon ang host or si Gabby so syempre mahal ang fee.

Trabaho ko ug 10 ka tuig sa Marketing ug Advertising ug mao ni ang mga importanteng technicalities sa TV Ad:

1. Story Board
2. Target Audience
3. Duration
4. Frequency
5. Prime Time
6. Celbrity Endorser & Talent fee
7. Product Image
8. Importante sab ang Slogan or Jingle nga dili hikalimtan sa mga audience. Sa Slogan kinahanglan minimized ang number of words like 5 words lang para dali ma memorize ug kung Jingle simple melody lang para ang tune sayon kantahon.
9. Importante pod ang gimik or benefit nga makuha sa Audience.

Basic lang ni sa Advertising ug nag depende ani ang success sa ug presyo sa usa ka Ad.

Actually, dili ka puede mo diretso sa mga Media Groups like GMA or ABS-CBN. Naa silay mga designated Agents ug daghan ni sila. Mao nga kung mo inquire ka ug Prices, wala kay makuha.

Case to case basis ni ug murag Bidding. Mo inquire una ka ug pipila ka mga Agents ug makig negotiate una ka sa prices para makuha nimo ang best quotation. Daghan kini ug option.

Mao na gitawag Bulak ug "Word-by-mouth" Advertising. Puede na sa mga traditional products like herbal oils, hapas, etc. Basta naay brand mo click gihapon ni, pero ang imong competinsya ang mga immitations nga mo sakay kung mosikat na imong brand.

Ayaw na lang i-advertise sa TV kay mahal. Dire na lang sa TB kay matod ni Mike "absolutely free".

Happy, kung mag himo ka ug Budget kinahanglan partnership na sa Principal (Suplier) and Distributor, gi tawag na ug A&P Budget.

Ang TV, Magazine ug Newspaper Ad, mass media, gi tawag kini ug ATL or Above the line Ad. Usually ang Principal or supplier ang mo himo ani. Pero kung regionalize na ang Ad, puede ang Distributor or puede partnership nga 50/50.

Ang mga Banners, Posters ug leaflets nga gi distribute sa streets is called BTL or below the line. Kasagaran ang distributor ang mo gasto ani nga budget.

Mao lang ni mga basic terminology nga standard gigamit sa international nga akong na experience sa actual, pero wala ko mo iskwela ani.

Hangtod karon wala ko kasabot ngano mao ni ilang terms.

Wala ko mo angay ani nga mga Ads for below reason:
1. Dili realistic, fantasy based.
2. Ang type of humor pang European. Dili mo sakay sa Pinoy type of humor.
3. Tag-as ra kaayo. Dapat naa sa 10 - 20 seconds lang. So mahal ang bayad.
4. Dili Economical ang gi gamit nga props.
5. Daghan kaayo ang Character (asa kaha ni mangalibang)
6. Dili Direct ang message
7. Complicated ang Jinggle
8. Tulokibon ang message sa mga busy nga audience.
9. Wala mo gamit ug leverage sa sikat nga personalities (walay celebrity endorsement).

Kung mag himo ka ug Ad nga opposite ani, siguro ko nga mo fit sa real world (nga nag face karon sa economic crisis).

Akong suggestion: Simple, Direct, Catchy, a bit of humor, creative using indigenous inexpensive props. Using celebrity is a shortcut but expensive.

karon lng ko kita ani nga adv pero i like it a lot and it's very creative. i think one of the tricks in adv is subliminal message and it's perfectly conveyed here precisely on the 'lovely and favorite things' consumers generally prefer.

IMO, the content of this adv is primarily driven by the song (dili na sya jingle), "My Favorite things", one of the classic favorite songs in the movie musical, 'The Sound Of Music' and the singer's voice is the well known Julie Andrews who played Maria, the nun who became the governess or babysitter of the captain's children.

the song alone reminds the audience of the 'favorite things' like the lovely cake they see on the adv...the delicious pouring of the honey mixed with the dough to form the panels of the car. this adv will click with the old generation and the young generation as well since that song has been played since the 1960's and recently The sound of music movie was digitally remastered and released for the viewing pleasure of the children worldwide.

Actually, I like the concept and the song and the creativity. It is perfectly done and no wonder it became a prized piece of TV Ad. Mostly, I like the song because it reminds me of my elementary days when our whole class with my favourite classmates went to BQ to watch the Sound of Music. I just cant forget the song.

However, the present world is much different. Too much values are not treasured anymore and people are more practical. Back then, if you are a good person, somebody will take care of you, but at present times nobody cares.

People nowadays are more focused on money than ethics or artistic values.

This is a mad world.

But you are right Jams, no doubt about it.

Ang Ad is a very powerful and influential media that could change peoples perspective and lifestyle either positively or negatively. It works inside our sub-conscious mind. So you will realize that even how annoying the jingle of an Ad is, you will somehow like it in few days of listening and will start humming the tune.

Manay, nahuman ra jud akong exam ganina, perti paningot nako sa ka nervous. Unsaon nag first time nako mag-atubang sa examinator nya magdeliver sa akong report for 20 minutes.

Wala ko maghimo ug commercial like ana sa tv, naghimo rako ug poster for promotion sa product, then ako gi translate ang information nga nakabutang sa box sa product from danish to english. Then sa akong reporting ganina, ako ra pud gi analyse ang akong gipangbuhat, then explain kung ngano mao to akong gibuhat. Plus, answering the questions from the examinator about sa akong gipangsuwat sa akong project.

It went well, Manay. Bisan mao rato akong gihimo, simple ra, pero I am very proud of myself nga nakakuha ko adto nga grade
