No. Proofs are our honor graduates who are always taken in as college or university teachers. Mas madatu ang medyo utokan, or average lang, pero nanglimbasog sa pagpanarnaho ug nagnegosyo.

Ingon ang Grandpa ni Blue angel nga si Einstien:

"Imagination is more powerful than knowledge"

"Experience make you rich"

Tinuod sad tingali kay ug mo apply ka trabaho ang experience man ang basehan di man ang grado (here in Merika) ug mas daghan ka experience sa trabaho mas dako imong chance ma hire ug ma promote.

 ;D ;D ;D

Depends on the person. hehe.

But if you're intelligent and also have a great work ethic. The sky's the limit.

My colleagues who are Ph.D doctoral students want to go into research (medical, immunological, cancer).

And I admire that, absolutley! These are the students that will pave the way into medical advances and discover and find preventatives and cures to diseases.

To them, their research and their studies is work. To them it is an honor to work within the pillars of Academia. :)

Hard worker is big earner.

R.N nurses that work over time shifts can make over $110,000 easily.

College professors teach and learn and read constantly, but their average pay is ~ $60k

That is one thing that confused me. Why teachers earn only that? Di baja ta ma ingon ani ug wa sila!

Teaching is not that easy baja! Bisan diri sa Merika mga maestra ug maestro gamay ra sweldo, dako pa sweldo ang mag bantay ug tiguwang.

NGANOOOOO?

Because teachers work for the government.
Government jobs will always be poor in salary.
Good benefits, but salary-wise, very poor.

Hey, but they love it. It is their passion to teach, and for some, it is  a dream to be a college professor. To teach the mind, and sheppard the youth to wisdom.

If you are a professor at a private college or a teacher at a private school, then your salary will be higher.

The average salary of a state college will be poor ~ 60k
but if you are  professor at a private institution, the salary is almost double.

Privatized vs State-owned.

I have a good friend, who graduated S.C.L from SUNY Stony Brook, and proceeded on a Ph.D on Sino-American Politics at Columbia University (an Ivy League College). He is now working on his post-doctorate at the prestigious Princeton University (another ivy league).

Brilliant man. Thoroughly brilliant..

If he chooses to become a university professor, you, Dong Lorenz, will be earning much more in your private practice in the future.

hehe, I do hope he teaches someday, Justin did mention an interest in teaching classes in the future. I had the pleasure of making his acquaintance in a Lincoln-Douglass Collegiate Debate Forum, back in fall of 2005. 'twas held at Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Some men have that ability to speak with words and instill statutes and dictates with such a whim.

I, then a 1st year History Major, was left on the floor with my defense on the subject matter (justification for the United States' invasion of Nicaragua) totally in pieces.

At the end of our debate, we had a nice talk on American policy in Iraq (then it was still a 'popular' war). Brilliant man. I would have expected him to pursue Law, but a Ph.D on International Politics does suit him. Some men are born to live and teach within the prestigious pillars of Academia.

To such brilliant men, I can only marvel at their intellectual...brilliance..hehehe
