It depends on the context, Kiams.

Living well is such an abstract concept and can differ from person to person. For some, "Living Well" is in accordance to Christian theology and the message, for others still, it means living by simple means, but being open and loving. And still for some it means living extravagantly--vis-a-vis materialistic means.

Depends on what you're referring to.

For me, living well is inhaling pleasure during this brief but seems eternal moment; since I was given this chance, once in this infinite universe.

Sometimes I felt denial of death. I wished I am immortal.

I can not be angry nor sad; I don't have time for that.

Life itself is the benefit of living. Wellness is only an accessory to it like an icing on the cake. For Life's beautiful and Its beauty lies in our participation in it (Plato). That's what it means--Life is meant to be enjoyed. It is participated.

So where does this query lead us? To the belief of the futility and vanity of human life because death awaits us? I don't despair living a life even if it's facing the definite end. For death only negates the physical but not the spirit which unquestionably defines my being alive and well. should i die tomorrow, my life is still worth living with all its benefits. For I'm fully human, fully alive.

I want to live a life wherein I am the who defines what I do.
Not that what I do defines who I am.

I want to live a life of freedom from the state of mental slavery that being in school is a necessity to live. Because for me, school is just an option.

I want to live a pragmatic life.

Why I can't live this kind of life now? Because I am influenced and brought up, the opposite.

Puro man ni mga seryoso! Live well with a sense of humor. Always thank God for your achievements and laugh off all the problems you encountered while moving on. Just think the positive way or let them just go, for they will just dampen your happiness when pampered too much. Don't live your life too seriously because as I mentioned in the other thread, 'Nobody escapes life alive."

Argh! kuyaw naman sad ni imo point mochs.. huhu ayaw lang sad tragic..kana lang natural death..like old age.. the fact nga in the end we all end up dead. and we can't take life's tangible luxuries with us.

We can only appreciate these things if we were exposed to it. Like we have the chance to compare. I'm speaking about the mountain people. As long as dili cla ma expose sa media then I can say contento na sila sa ila life. dili na ma pressure like what we are into now.

There are people who are very contented. The amish people for example. Now if you say we want moooore its because we are exposed to people who looooove material things.

Hey look at those amish people, they live in america and yet they dont seek too much material things they live in a very modest way of life and yeah they have tons of money too. One thing though they dont associate people who love material things like us.

But the title is the Benefit of Living Well...and i say you really cant live well if you seek more. Never.

Death can also be explained genetically. And in genetics, there is a way to prevent or even to alter that state.

Unfortunately for us, in this epoch, we do not have the facilities to re-stabilize genetic defects in the human genome.

But in time, maybe in a few centuries, we will have the ability to repair genetic transcripts in error. Longevity everlasting.
