Another distinguishable feature of Filipino men:
This past weekend, I went out to with my friend Marc, who is Filipino. We went out for some chinese and talked about the coming spring break; conversation was about philippines, missing filipino food, and the Chinese waitress that gave us our order (who was very guapa) smiled at both of us. I didn't say anything, just kept everything to myself. Pero after the waitress gave us our food and left, I noticed how Marc and I kept on turning our heads looking for our waitress. hahaha. It was so obvious we were interested, pero we didn't talk about her.
I didn't initiate a comment, neither did he.
Its interesting because whenever I hang out with my non-filipino friends, if I see someone hot, I will tell them about it. Of course jokes are thrown at me, all for laughs. But whenever I hang out with fellow Pinoys, I notice how not only myself, but they also restrain themselves. lol
Perhaps it differs from a filipino man to another filipino man, but I really do notice Pinoy's "machisimo" in heightened mode whenever around other Pinoys.
One trait I noticed.
