The long-awaited "Xiamen Disneyland" - Fantawild Theme Park is scheduled to officially open on 28th April this year, 3 days before May Day (Labor Day).
With an area of 400,000 square metres, the Xiamen Fantawild Theme Park is located at Tong'an New Town in Tong’an Districts and made up of 27 theme project areas, boasting an investment of RMB2.5 billion.
The world-class large-scale high-tech theme park which integrates modern technology, science-fiction, myths and legends and history and culture, is seeking to live up to the high expectations people have for Fujian's largest cultural theme park. It is expected to receive 6 million visitors and rake in RMB2.5 billion in tourism revenue annually upon its opening, and further boost the development of the culture industry and tourism industry in Xiamen, especially in the Haixi Zone.
The theme park will charge visitors RMB200 per person for adults under a pay once admission model. After paying the fee, visitors are entitled to use almost all of the recreational facilities in the park including the roller coasters and carousel.
Meanwhile, 8 bus routes to the Fantawild Theme Park will be launched starting from 28th April, covering almost all districts of the city.
