A historical note: The Sultanate of Brunei was a mere vassal to the mightier overlord, the Sultanate of Sulu, some 3 centuries ago. The princesses of the Sultan of Brunei were part of the harem of the greater Sultan of Sulu, who ruled a vast Empire (Half of Mindanao, all of Palawaan, and most of Northeastern Borneo)

Bai, sa una, Brunei was controlled by Philippine Sultanate of Sulu. The English Imperialists stole our territory and gave it to Malaysia. Kining mga Bruneian, were mere slaves of Sulu Sultanate sa unang panahon. The natural resources they have once belonged to Filipino Sulu Sultanate.
