Rock-steady symbol unveiled at Painted RocksThe Year of the NCO Rock painting is officially unveiled durring a ceremony at Fort Irwin. Those in attendance included Brig. Gen. Robert "Abe" Abrams, Fort Irwin and NTC commanding general, and Command Sgt. Maj. Victor Martinez, Fort Irwin and NTC command sergeant major. CSM Martinez was the guest speaker and personally thanked the two artists who painted the rock; Spc. Ryan Ferriera and Pfc. Michael Sharpe, both from F Troop, 2nd Squadron, 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment.
