TESDA warns public on unregistered course offered by vocational
schools in CV

    DUMAGUETE CITY, Sept. 2, 2002(PNA) -- The Technical Education and
Skills Development (TESDA) has warned the public on unregistered
course offered in technical institutions in Central Visayas.

     TESDA officials said the technical schools are offering the
caregivers course and seafarers ratings course without proper
authorization from TESDA.

     Authorized technical institutions in Central Visayas offering
caregiving course are Can-Care Caregiver Training and Development
Center, Inc. in Tagbilaran City, Bohol Institute of Technology also
in Tagbilaran City, MBL Development Training Center Corporation in
Cebu City, St. Paul College Foundation, Inc. also in Cebu City.

    Cebu Caregiving Studies and Development Center, Cebu Normal
University, Intercontinental Health Care Consultants, Primacare
Training and Development Center, SICES, INS Human Resource
Development Corporation, all of Cebu City; Fil-Canadian Training and
Development Center, Dumaguete City, Negros Maritime College
Foundation, Sibulan, Negros Oriental. (PNA)
