Forum set on streamlining
licensing systems set Dec 23 2017

Businesses enjoying better convenience in their licensing and business permitting can attract better investments here.
Knowing the importance of better convenience in streamlines business permitting and licensing system, the Bohol Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) and the City Government of Tagbilaran are inviting the Boholano  business community to attend a Business Forum on the New Streamlined Business Permitting and Licensing System (BPLS).
The forum will be held on Friday, December 23, 2016, 8:00AM – 11:00AM at the Bohol Wisdom School Gymnasium.
The forum is in compliance to the Joint Memorandum Circular No 01, Series of 2016 (signed August 30, 2016) mandating the use of revised standards in processing business permits and licenses in all cities and municipalities, which was issued by Interior and Local Government Department (DILG), Trade and Industry Department (DTI), and the Information, Communication and Technology Department (DICT).
The aim of the streamlining is for efficiency by reducing the processing time, the City Government of Tagbilaran, through Executive Order No. 22, series of 2016, issued by City Mayor John Geesnell L. Yap, has created an automated business permits and licensing systems (BPLS). 

This new BPLS is a “must-learn” by the business sector and the barangay and city officials as well.  In this forum, the business sector would be oriented to the filing of application, processing time, requirements and other related procedures.  This event would be the best opportunity for the businessmen, their bookkeepers and concerned office personnel to raise and clarify issues through an open forum, which is scheduled after the presentation of the new and streamlined business permit and licensing system during the said event.
