Mayor Lani Revilla backs President Duterte’s 'DAD' campaign

BACOOR CITY, Cavite, Feb. 28 (PNA) -- Bacoor City Mayor Lani Mercado Revilla has expressed support for the mounting calls on “DAD†or “Duterte Against Drugsâ€- the anti-illegal drug campaign waged by President Rodrigo Duterte.
At the 47th birthday celebration of Cavite 2nd District Representative Strike Revilla, the Bacoor City Mayor declared "I and my family are truly supportive of President Rodrigo Duterte's fight against illegal drugs in the country.â€
She stated that Cavite local officials, policemen and Bacoorenos have expressed support to the resumption of the government’s anti-narcotics campaign.
The Bacoor lady chief executive reported that the "Tokhang" operation led by the city police chief Senior Supt. Christopher Olazo has resulted in the surrender of more than 2,500 pushers and drug users.
She also said that the Bacoor City’s police operations was cited and awarded as Cavite’s topnotcher in the biggest number of illegal drug surrenderers.
Mayor Lani also said that around 8,000 Bacooreños voluntarily participated and pledged in the local governments’ call on the President’s war on drugs, illegal gambling, graft and corruption.
"Ang pagkakaisa ang tunay na pagbabago at wala sa puso namin ang rumesbak kay Sen. De Lima,†(our unity is the real essence of change and it is not in our nature to seek revenge against Sen. De Lima),†Mayor Lani Revilla said.
She also wished the Senator (De Lima) will change her ways especially on what she did then to Senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr. who is now detained with another Senator Jinggoy Estrada for three years now in the same custodial center at Camp Crame, Quezon City. (PNA)
