P118-M worth of Infra projects implemented by Dipolog in 2011

DIPOLOG CITY, JAN. 31, 2012 (PIA) -- The city government of Dipolog has implemented more than P118-million various infrastructure projects in 21 barangays of Dipolog City in 2011.
This was contained in the 2011 Annual Accomplishment Report submitted by the City Engineering Office to Mayor Evelyn T. Uy earlier this week.
Of the total worth of infrastructure projects implemented in 2011, P27,131,305.35 were used for the road openings and rehabilitations; P17,555,117 for the construction and repair of school buildings; P8,216,420.00 for the construction of drainage around the city; P3,414,159.00 was used in the maintenance and upgrading of irrigation facilities.
From the total amount, the remaining P62-million was spent in the construction of other infrastructure projects implemented by the City Government such as public buildings, bridges, terminals, parks and others.
With the 2011 accomplishment of the City Government under the leadership of Mayor Uy, the Dipolognons are optimistic of more projects to be implemented this year as Mayor Uy vows to look after the needs of the populace, more importantly those residing in the remote areas of the city.
