Cagayan De Oro’s best practices to be replicated nationwide
Cagayan de Oro City (27 June) -- CAGAYAN de Oro City’s implementation gains owing to its participation in the Philippines Regional and Municipal Development Program (PRMDP) may be replicated in other local government units in the country under the proposed Local Governance Development Program (LGDP).

This was disclosed by City Planning and Development Officer Emmanuel Abejuela who said a team from the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID) is coming to the city today to evaluate the feasibility of the proposed program and explore partnership ties with the city government.

The mission team is composed of Prof. Brian Roberts (team leader), Mr. Deo Mwesigye (Philippines desk officer), Prof. Joel Mangahas (Filipino consultant), Angus Barnes (first secretary), and Rod Ervin Sollesta (program officer).
The team will discuss the concept paper and the terms of reference of the program with key officials of the city government.

Engr. Abejuela pointed out that the concept paper that will be discussed contains the options for a new program of Australian assistance to support capacity building for local government units to improve delivery of basic services.
He added that the team would be replicating the good governance practices of the city to other cities in the country in governance capacity along development planning, revenue management, and information technology.

It may be recalled that with PRMDP, the city enhanced its governance capacity along land tax revenue, asset maintenance, engineering planning, land use planning, human resource development, and community consultation. (Oro City Information Office/Ragcom)

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
