BJMP lauds support of LGUs NGOs to jail decongestion program
LEGAZPI CITY, Oct. 3, 2003 (PNA) -- The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) in Bicol was given solid backing and support by inmate welfare-minded individuals and local government officials to continue in carrying out construction projects in different jail facilities, particularly, in Albay and Camarines Sur. BJMP Bicol regional head Sr. Sup't. Gregorio Anglo said amidst the tight financial difficulties, the BJMP in the region seeks every which way possible to confront jail congestion and the consequent problems arising from it through lateral coordination.
