« on: November 23, 2007, 10:56:48 AM »

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I hope you all had a good time! What did you eat for your Thanksgiving dinner? I had turkey, ham, yams, mashed potatoes and gravy, turkey stuffing, and other stuff too! My favorite food to eat at my Thanksgiving dinner is pumpkin pie with alittle ice cream too. Happy Holidays!!! ;D

When we had our thanksgiving day last October, we had turkey, cranberry sauce, shrimps, mussels, escabeche (pampano fish) grilled bangus, lutong pinoy na mga vegetables...

Fried chicken, ground pork specail corn and mushroom soup, and home made chocolate cup cake recipe from the states for dessert.
In philippines we do not celebrate it the same way as America does.

Here we have fiesta's and Christmas and birthday dinners.

They do not even color boiled eggs or hide them for the kids to find like how we do back home in America.

Halloween classrooms party are not celebrated in the classrooms here or do they pass out valentine cards to classmates and dine on heart shaped cookies here and Hawaiian red punch with sprite.

Holidays here are different compared to states.

Here you have allot of hero holidays like Bonifacio days is this week for example.
What do you recall from Bonifacio as your Philippine National Hero?
