Soak in the alcohol after shaving. The vodka disinfects the blade and prevents rusting.



5. Spray vodka on wine stains, Scrub with a brush, and then blot dry.

6. Using a cotton ball, apply vodka to your face As an astringent to cleanse the skin and tighten pores.


7. Add a jigger of vodka to a 12-ounce bottle of shampoo.
The alcohol cleanses the scalp,removes toxins from hair, 
And stimulates the growth of healthy hair.

8. Fill a sixteen-ounce trigger-spray bottle with vodka and spray bees or wasps to kill them.

And one-half cup water into a Ziploc freezer bag And freeze for a slushy, refreshing ice pack for aches,

With freshly packed lavender flowers,
Fill the jar with vodka, seal the lid tightly   
And set in the sun for three days. 
Strain liquid through a coffee filter,   
Then apply the tincture to aches and pains.


11. To relieve a fever, use a washcloth
To rub vodka on your chest and back as a liniment.

12. To cure foot odor,

Wash your feet with vodka.

13 Vodka will disinfect

And alleviate a jellyfish sting.
14. Pour vodka over an area affected with poison ivy

To remove the urushiol oil from your skin.
15. Swish a shot of vodka over an aching tooth.

Allow your gums to absorb some of the alcohol to numb the pain.

And silly me!
   
Drink the vodka and you won't care about any of the above !

Pssst!  maghimo ko'g lemoncello.  naka soak pa ang lemon rind sa vodka (100% proof!).  Two weeks na kini after ana ako na ning tiwason ning akong concoction.  This would be good for Christmas or New Year pohon.

 To increase the life of cut flowers, add a few drops of vodka vase water along with 1 teaspoon sugar.

- Use it undiluted to remove ink stains from fabric (dab, don't rub).

- Use undiluted vodka to remove paint from clothes.

- Vodka sprayed on areas where cats have peed or sprayed will remove the odor.

- A healthy splash of vodka in old water storage containers will help kill bacteria.

Manay, what I did, I peeled the lemon rind being careful not to include the white peel since it is bitter. I used 20 regular sized lemons.  Reserve the juice for other use.  In a jar with lid, let steep the rind with 750 ml good vodka (80% proof) for 2 weeks or longer like 2 months. 

Make simple syrup by boiling 3 cups of water and 3 cups of white granulated sugar, for about 7 minutes.  Let cool.  Add to the lemon-vodka mixture and continue steeping for another 2 weeks.  Longer is fine too! 

Strain out the lemon peel and put liqueur in a clean clear bottle.  (Clear bottle so I can see the nice lemony color of the liqueur!) 

Freeze before drinking.

Note:  I don't really drink this but just to taste.  I make this as giveaways like I make Kahlua.

I think lambanog is comparable to vodka since its alcohol contents can reach 80-90%.  But knowing the Pinoy mentality sayang ang lambanog kon i-spray lang, i-spray na lang sa totonlan, Tagay!

Ang Vodka sayon ra himoon. Ang ingredients ana patatas lang nga gi ferment. Ang naka special lang sa Vodka ngano dili nato puede himoon sa Pilipinas kay ang last process ani ilubong ni siya sa snow ug ang temperature dili mo taas sa -32 degrees sa absolute scale sulod sa pipila ka buwan.

Mao bitaw naay brand sa Vodka nga Absolute.

Kana pod nga Tequilla ang main ingredients ana ang Blue Agave ug ang porma ani nga tanom mura ug Rami nga gamonon ug banig or mura ug ponoan sa pineapple. Sa Mexico lang ni makita nga tanom. So kung dunay Tequilla nga made in Philippines, dili na tinood nga Tequilla.
