Very sage advice.

Likewise, don't judge a person in front of his relatives. As Melanie Marquez admonished someone who criticized his brother Joey, "Don't judge my brother. He's not a book!"

Nothing is more hurtful than a friend to hurt a friend, imho.
The best way to evade in being hurt again by a person whom one considered a friend is to stop associating with that person. Mao ra na jud.

So many of my friends have been hurt by their other friend talking about them.

I always tell them, "Stop associating with the person that hurts you, or those that talk about you."

Sometimes, it is necessary to burn down the bridges in life. For sometimes, some bridges lead to the wrong direction.

Just my view.
