More than just a bad law, Replic Act 10175, or the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012, betrays official sarcasm and indifference to two popular and long-overdue advocacies of human rights groups and citizens – to decriminalize libel and to pass the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act.
