1 The use of "Plain-Clothes" police "agents" in investigations or situations when merited.
2 New Wiretapping Laws for listening to phone-calls and the interception of emails.
3 Internet monitoring and surveillance and "Identification" to try and to prevent felonious-acts. It is believed this is to prevent civil-protests and marches in the face of a possible revolution that appears to be right around the corner.
And the 18 of April IMF approved a loan of 47BLN ( think I got that right..Maybe Pesos?) dollars to deal with the crisis. This means if there was foreign debt before it is now huge and the people of Mexico will pay! The news did not even mention the risk of taking such a a loan.
4 The 17th of April President Obama came to Mexico to close a deal and help train the Mexican Military and secure the Petroleum Fields and Pipelines and complete the "Northern Command".
All this could have been opposed with marches and even violence from the drug cartels but due to the curious/opportune virus it was all squelched! The people did not hit the streets and were frightened in their homes seeing news reports every 15 minutes about how to avoid the Flu and every 2 or 3 hours major news reports focusing only on the flu.
This is nothing more than state sponsored terrorism and "Shock and Awe" doctrine. Remember the "Chupacabras" the "old Lady killer" and boogie-man? These are all links of the same chain.
