looks like, though there are 3 claimants to being the oldest church in the philippines---san agustin in manila, sto. niño basilica in cebu, and baclayon church in bohol. these are all correct if one takes the nuances of what it is to be the oldest, i.e., oldest structure, oldest church establishment, etc.

thank you! i will pray that the people of bohol will rebuild our churches. i just finished talking to my mommy wella, she's the dilg provincial director in bohol. and she said that the water is still out. electricity has been returned, however fluctuates. the lgu officers have reported some damages to other churches kono. loon's church was completely demolished.
there are people around bohol that are sleeping outside and in open spaces for fear of another quake. roads are also cracked, bridges are damaged.
my heart is saddened to hear this.
