besides, the currency in the picture is euro, not the u.s. dollar, and the u.s. is where she is.
she may have gone to europe for vacations; that would be peanuts for her. but to be in europe with all that money, if that picture were true... uh, that's unbelievable. she'd be caught and questioned pronto. her credit cards/expense accounts can make the rounds in all the expensive places in europe. no lugging of heavy cash was necessary. that would be too plebeian for her.
indeed. this reminds me of a friend back in medical school. where money isn't an issue. i remember the time when i was a student, i had to struggle with money and save my pocket money kai most of my money (and my parents') went to my tuition-- mag spend lang ko og $100 a week for personal use. limited kaajo. most of my friends back then all were like this, mag tinihik intawon kai wa jamo'y kwarts.
then one day after post-exams, a friend whose comes from a very, very wealthy filipino family drove up with his rolls royce (his dad gave it to him as present after getting admitted to medical school). he took us all out (all 10 of us) to a very fine (very tasty) restaurant. we all wanted to chip in for the bill but dili sija gosto. he insisted he will pay. pero ako, i felt so bad. si i tried putting in some money, na suko sija because i insisted. he said to us, "most likely you guys couldnt afford the bill anyways, so just let me pay it..."
the total came up to $3500.
he just swiped it with his card, and voila.
after that time tho, i never let him pay for me. na luod ko sa ijang comment.
