Personally, I liked Obama because his life is an underdog drama. I am sure that big part of his heart belongs to minorities. I can see his being focused and organized through his campaigns. Other aspects: Harvard, our generation, close to Asian people, brilliant, not attached to big corporates, represents renaissance, Martin Luther King, social revolution, etc.
I first saw him two years back at a documentary for the poorest county in the US. That time, he had already the big ambition and started his campaign from the streets of his county while jogging and he joined outdoor basketball games with youths. He showed underprivilaged schools with damaged classroom facilities and discussed about solving youth violence and crime rate.
