there are 3 to 4 mouses in our house. so annoying already. how to obliterate them from the face of the earth? thank you for your suggestions.

my personal experience:

1) tolerate their presence if you can't keep them as pets. that way, they won't touch your things.

2) have a cat. (prepare for a dead or dying mouse offered at your feet by a grateful cat.)

3) please don't kill them with your bare hands. their kind may come back tenfold and have their revenge.

4) they can be friends. think "ben" and "willard". add those medical research laboratories that sacrifice them for experiments.

5) if it's beyond you to tolerate their presence, there's a gadget that's plugged, the electronic pest repellent. it's supposed to keep them away. it's something like this (mine is another brand and colored black; costs a little over 2k pesos):

Mike,

When I was in college, i had a mouse in my apartment. I bought the sticky mouse traps and placed them on corners. Within a week, i found 4 mice on the mice traps.

I exterminated them accordingly afterwards.

Try the mice traps as well.

but, as for the mice, i can't. they've tormented me many times in college with their rummaging around.

they even chewed my leather briefcases. that triggered my wrath and prompted me to buy the mice traps.

i remember during my 2nd year of college, my gf at the time used to tease me about the mice.

she knew about the mice problem i had in my apartment. she used to sing "three blind mice" to get a reaction out of me.

then one night, when she stayed over my place, the mice did come out and ran around, boy did she scream so loud. lol.

did they die sudden deaths in those traps? did they squeak their last squeaks? did you hear them? the sound is primeval. can't stand it.

using rat poison like racumin is worse. it gives them internal hemorrhage. they seek the light and die so slowly. can't stand it.

no , i am in opposition to rat poison because those are cholinergic inhibitors, any accidental intake can be devastating to humans and can cause cholinomimetic symptoms. the mice traps that i purchased were the instant kill ones. their necks were broken and death was instant.

i did have 2 sticky mouse traps which caught live mice. i handed those over to animal control where they were euthanized properly in the most humane way.

as for my leather briefcases, yea, i put them on top of my closet now. before, i used to keep them under my bed.

i was sad because the ones that they chewed were a gift from my father. i still have it tho. i went to a tanner to have it fixed. sentimental value.

You're welcome Mike. Caution lang if you decide to use racumen; please make sure that do not store it near the kitchen. Make sure that it is not blown by the electric fan where it can be accidentally inhaled. I hope you are able to solve the problem, I know what it is like be pestered by the sound of mice running around.

cat, mike, cat. please mr webmaster. the mice might walk on racumin and then walk on your food. the risk is too great. or so i think.
