Piston transport group threatens strike over rising fuel pricesMANILA, Philippines -- The militant transport group and partylist Pinagkaisang Samahan ng mga Tsuper at Operator Nationwide (Piston) has threatened the government with a nationwide protest if the rise in oil prices in the country?s unregulated market is not curbed.
In a statement, Piston national president George San Mateo called on the President to mitigate the effects of high fuel prices that could threaten the livelihood of public transport drivers and operators.
