Kini ang akong suliran
« on: October 26, 2008, 03:13:38 PM »
TB is
tied for friendship. Ang managhigalaay, magpahibaloay, magsinumbongay sa ilang
problema.

I will open this topic with my problem. Its not too serious but worthy  for information.

Dear TB,

I turned 60 this month.
of classes. Unsa may maayong option ang akong kuhaaon , 5 year lumpsum o 18
months lumpsum  pension dayon

5 years Lumpsum: imong makuha ang 60 months average monthly pension.

Sa mga panghitabo nga nagkuha ug five years lumpsum, after one year, nahurot na

Unsa maayong option?
Dili ra ba kabalibaran kay anak man. Aduna

I'm tired of teaching and
dealing  with children. I  felt lazy at this time.

Always,
fdaray

Hallo Fdaray,
Take the second option, since you still have a child in high school you are oblige to put him through college, this is your obligation as a parent whereas the 5 yrs lumpsum promises a huge amount but nowadays, ang kwarta morag kilat.
The economic situation is uncertain. But knowing some good properties in Davao City you can make a research in real properties.

Dili ra ba kabalibaran kay anak man. Aduna

This is wrong that you can not say no to them.  You were able to raise them, of course you can say no, it is your hard earned money. You want to make sure that you have financial security in your old age.  Time and life is short. Enjoy it.

Sir Felix, just make sure that if you opt for the lumpsum the money won't be used up in extravagant spending. Put half of it in the bank as time deposit. You can use the other half for small-time business.

Sir fdaray,

Our oldest sister retired two years ago and took that 5 years lumpsum and now I feel she needs to work again for the sake of their daily needs having children who are still in College. You must have to decide  what is the best....a big amount at once needs a strong personal control and you will be feeling like a one day millionaire and you can't avoid to share those who badly in needs (your kids). I think the best way is... bisan ug hinay basta kanunay, di ba? Good luck Sir and stay healthy!

Sir Felix,

The monthly stipend would be a wise choice as to secure a monthly income, especialidad for a rainy day. I wish you a Happy Birthday and Good Health.

Regards, Sir!
