"Hey bolingitboy,
Yes I agree, perchance have you ever tasted turkey? Turkey is actually one of the healthier avian species to eat. Very low in fat, and their intake of wild berries, flowers and free ranged hemlinths add to its taste"
lorenzo, i'll keep this info in mind per chance i'll get my hands - or should i say my mouth rather - on some turkey. unfortunately, you can't turkeys in groceries, public markets or even specialty restos in this country except for turkeys as in jerks :-). but kidding aside, most of the turkeys you find here are raised mostly for personal consumption and it's easier to find ostrich meat than turkey in traditional food outlets like markets or restos.
During Thanksgiving Day, here in the 'states, Bolingitboy, if you go to any market house in the states everyone will be buying a whole turkey for their own Thanksgiving Day celebrations.
Turkey also has a generous share of tryptophan, which induces sleep after eating. lol. Its a great inducer of the Parasympathetic nervous response (rest and digest).
Mas healthy pa ning turkey.
I actually recommend frequenting turkey than chicken. Kai, in my opinion, much healthier pa and tastier. Ug worried mo about the fat content; simple ra. Just remove the skin and cut off the excess fibrotic and adipose tissue (fat).
Bake it in the oven or broil it--or however your cook it--and enjoy it with a nice side of veggies.
