Kon naay sagul-sagol nga global listing sa mga ngalan, dili mailhan ang Pinoy, kay either English or Spanish man.  Unlike Koreans (Kim, Park, Jung, Kyong), Chinese (Tan, Lao), Malaysians (Bai, Bin), Vietnamese (Tung, Ly, Truong),  Indonesian (Dewi, Sukarno, Suharto) Icelandic (Bjornsdottir, daghan ni kaayo all ending in "dottir"), Japanese (Yamamoto, Tanakawa), Thai (Apichart, Chaipak, Pluemchitt), Indian (Shankar, Khan, Aishwarya, Anoop, Sajid), etc.

We have many real and actually used Filipino first names and last names like: Dakila, Himaya, Maya, Mutya, Magtanggol, etc. Sa Batangas daghang apelyido nga nagsugod og "Dima -", like Dimayacyac, Dimaano, Dimasupil, Dimatanto, Dimaculangan, etc.  The longest Tagalog last name I have encountered is "Carilimriliman", which means the "darkest" (part of the house, for example).

Dinhi sa Bohol daghan kaayo ta'g mga last names nga sa ato-a lang, sama sa:

Agad                          Dalagan                        Bajao                          Oppus
Laway                        Lood                             Bonggot                      Bonggay
Banluta                      Bukag                           Maniwang                    Hangad
Jipos                          Datahan                       Ampo                            Araoarao
Calacat                      Dagala                          Libot                            Baliling

Now that you mentioned it I do have a Tito who has a last name: Namocatcat, taga Valencia Bohol.

And I have an uncle with the last name of Cagubcub, from CDO, Mindanao.

interesting bitaw no to hear the authentic Pinoy last names.

Also, late last year, there was one news that caused quite a stir because a cake shop refused to inscribe the name of the boy in his birthday cake.  The 3-year old boy's name?  Adolf Hitler.
