We are boasting baya as the Philippines' #1 Tourist Destination, pero kulang ta kaayo sa mga printed materials / literatures that would the tourists about our arts, culture, scenic places and the best of what we have, so when they get back to their respective countries, they will be the one to educate their peers and friends and persuade to visit our place.

What I observed in almost of the 16 countries I've been in Asia, Europe and MidEast, everywhere they're flooded with reading materials, in airports, piers, tourist agents, malls even in their pay toilets.

There are a lot of things to be done to educate Tourist that would bring value to our tourism industry.

that;s why, if the government is serious in promoting Bohol tourism as a vehicle for economic development, then budget allocation shall be given importance; and whatever requirements should be supported para ang success dili sad half-baked.

I would like to share with you one story.... Once I met Richard Uy of FCB while he was still working in Riyadh Bank in AlKhobar Saudi Arabia few years ago. It goes like this...

His family who were raised in the states were moved to Bohol as they decided to finally settle there for reasons of enjoying quality life... His kids were enrolled at Bohol Wisdom School and due to the high standard of curriculum in the states, his kids excell in almost all the subject....

Hi Macky ,
upon scrolling some of the thread i stambled ds thread...happen to see u are mentioning
Rey Ompad, are you talking Crisologo Ompad(Oki)? from Lapu2x City Cebu who happened to
work in Cocacola Tagb.( if im not wrong),  or you are talking Rey Ompad from Maribago,Lapu2x
City Cebu too?

nakurat lagi ko ky ako ra gi type ang Ompad sa upper right TB"search" ni Mike unya mi appear ni
nga thread whew!

Macky pls. i need ur reply!

Coming back to the topic. I remembered Engr. Jess Tirol asked us "unsa ang iningles sa - Ika pila nga Presidente si Cory Aquino", which nobody could answer during that time and until now, I am still puzzled.

What's the sequence order of Cory Aquino that's ever been in the  Presidency? - Sir Macky would this be ok?

I must admit though when I was in Manila for quite sometime, if I can't speak tagalog fluently, I'd rather speak Bisaya or English - take it or leave it.
And now that I have an american step-grandchild, I'm teaching him bisaya and tagalog. This way his brain's development in language can pick up and learn easily to any language he wants to know. And sshh! para kami ra duha magkasinabot :)
