I am sickened that there are even doctors, the noblest of all professions, who elect to become abortionists. The antithesis of the very calling of medicine. Instead of saving lives, prolonging life, and delaying death. They become instruments of death. Stealing lives at such an early age.

A fetus' heart is completely formed by the 4-5 week. And will immediately pump blood. This same heart will continue to pump throughout the child's life, throughout adulthood until his/her anatomical death , usually in the 7th to 8th decade of life.

The heart starts to pump during the 1st trimester of life. Usually on the 8th to 9th week of life, the heart can be heard in ultrasound.

On the 5th week of formation, the fetal pole is formed. This is the prototype of the nervous system. By the 6th week, the fetus can feel. He/she will respond to pain , to joy, to calmness.

The fetus responds directly to his mother's emotion. When the mother is stressed, or anxious, the fetus' heart beat rises, indicating fetal stress.

There is a drug that 'Family Planning Centers' have , it is called Mifepristone and Misoprostol. These drugs are given to a pregnant woman. The effects of these drugs is opening the cervix, prematurely and initiating heavy bleeding. This will actually cause an induced-abortion. It kills the embryo/fetus.

As a woman who could never have children,I am against abortion and it saddened me to think when a woman decide to abort a child.But who are we to judge her rights on what she does on her body ? What about the victim of rape and incest who decide to abort a child ? It is a very sensitive issue and a womans decision is hers alone whether she felt a guilt or not and carry it thru her living.
