people nowadays are really judging one persons personality by just a simple glimpse....and that's the ugliest character individuals may have...
there's an incident when i was given a chance to met this girl...at first i wasn't able to greet her with a smile, not because of how she looks but because i don't know her...but when she offered me her paper...thats the start of a casual talking...for what i've seen and know about her..she's been applying for different jobs..andworst is.. not even one of those company called her...not because shedoesn't know anything but instead she's a college grad...and i know for sure that she's good.....before we parted our ways..i told her not to give up...and i was once told her that give all thosecompany an up chin...for they don't know what theyre losing.... for not hiring you instead of those pretty girls with sexy suit...

sumtyms life isn't fair....

hehehe, that is what I call very fake and superficial people.

A person is to be seen not only through his / her appearance, but through their intellect, their mannerisms and their outlook, contributions, and their unique characteristic. hehe!

A man or a woman is made not only based on how he or she looks like, but based on their profession, their whit, their education, their intellect, their position in life. Their personal and professional etiquette.

hehehe, ug sexy ang tawo, pa sexy pood ang mannerism and how one carries himself/herself before people. Because actions speaks a thousand words.

Let me give a personal motivational input.

Ive worked wth a great man, Dr. D. Villanueva, who is one of the best Cardiothoracic Surgeons in New Jersey. He is Filipino by ethnicity, and a physician-surgeon by trade. He is not tall, nor does he have a commanding presence, his voice is inviting, he is the reticent type. But when he opens his mouth, wisdom and knowledge permeate from every word that comes out of his mouth. Then you know that, wow, this man knows his 'stuff'. hehehe!

Brilliant and handsome mind!

Not just that, men like him are credited in saving hundreds (probably thousands) of lives.

It is then apparent to medical students, nursing staff, and patients that beauty does not come in the 2-3 thousand dollar suit one wears, or the 500 dollar leather shoes, or that rolex watch one wears, but it comes in a man. Suited in dark blue scrubs, surgical mask on. With disposable surgical shoes, with his utencils in hand and deep in work. The beauty in saving a life. And giving a patient with very little chance of surviving---the chance to live an additional 20-30 years--due to the removal of a benign tumor or removal of a obliterative hemorrhage that has impinged in the coronary artery, and insulting the myocardial abilities of the myocardial apparatus, itself.

Beauty in complete simplicity. hehehehe!
You can't get anymore beautiful than saving A Life.
nothing compares, no suit, no shoe, no car, no beauty appliance can compare. hehe.

Friend, your last statement was interesting to ponder on, "Sometimes life isn't fair."

I agree with that statement. Yes sometimes life really isn't fair. Sometimes the good people are attacked and the bad ones who lie, connive, and sneak, cheat get ahead. Sometimes the honest and prudent ones are stepped over by those who hold the anithesis of such virtues.

I tell you one thing tho, friend, don't worry about it. Do what you can, what you can, how you can, where you can with the time that you have.

Because I guarantee you this, friend, 110% that every thing you do, you say, you whisper, will be revealed and will be proclaimed in the rooftops. For the Lord God is not mocked. What people reap, they will sow. We must be mature about matters and remind them and or pray for them because trust me, The Lord will avenge. He is the Judge and Decision-Maker.

In the end, in Judgement Day, every single one of us, the good, the bad, will get what he or she deserves. Entrance into Paradise or Eternal Damnation in the Pit.

For Men: (to do business)

1. Wear a suit.
2. Wear dark colors
3. Limit jewelry (a simple watch should do, don't over due the jewelry, it turns off the employer and could establish a negative rapport)
4. Choose your shoes wisely (black, formal, conservative)
5. Pick the right cologne. Establish the professional feel.
6. Shake hands, when meeting the partner. Match their grip. Firm if they are firm.
7. Talk in a cool and polite manner. Be conservative, don't make sexual inuendos, be respectful; show cultural awareness.
8. Maintain eye-contact. It establishes confidence and trust.
9. Smile frequently, but make it feel genuine.

In my humble opinion ang Philippines grabe maka discriminate ug worker labi na sa mga front liner nga trabaho kanang sa mga malls. Why? tan awa ilang requirements ug mag hiring number 1 ang with pleasing personality so this means ug maot ka wa kay chance makatrabaho. Kadaghan commerce graduate, education ug ubang kurso nga mangapply lang temporary ug pagka sales lady sa mga malls kay lagi way laing kasudlan.Pero mao lagi ni grabeh ang discrimination sa requirements lang daan sa company maglisod ta ug meet. 1. with pleasing personality,2; college graduate(wala nay chance makawork ang mga high school graduate) 3. at least 5'2 so ug putot ka wa kay chance gihapon bisan na meet nimo ang duha ka requirements.Unya last kay at least 18 to 25 years old so ug lapas na ka ani wa na poy kay chance.Dapat solusyunan ni sa goberno nga wala untay i discriminate nga nag seek ug trabaho pareha unta diri sa U.S nga bisan pa ug mongoloid ka hatagan ka ug trabaho bisan pa tiguwang na pag ayo naa jud kay trabaho.
One time nag uban ko sa akong amiga nag apply ug trabaho sa mall in desperation na jud to kay chemist to siya walay nasudlan trabaho.Gisukod gyud iya height. Gitubag gud namo ang nag hire ug ang height ba diay moatubang ug costumer. try the BPO companies or call centers. i think they are not particular in the looks as I can see alots of the people they are hiring are not good looking. as long as you have good command in english then it's your passport in getting a job in that industry.

it's a sad truth but somehow companies are really putting it as the main requirement in hiring people. not just brainy but good looking. it's common practice used by banks, insurance companies, pawnshops, cellshops, sales, malls and more who are engage doing business directly with people. they know people will drop by, come by, and most likely will buy if these business establishments employs good looking people.

that is the tactic for med reps. They send scantly clothed women with 3-4 inch heels to court the physicians to propagate med sales.

If the physician is male; they send showy-dressed female med reps; or if the physician is female, then they send male med reps.

Business folks have commercialized in the notion of 'Sex Sells', unfortunately.

it's an advantage to have the looks because it's like a charm. if you have looks, most likely ladies will surely be attracted to you. however some people are not really particular about the looks but the innermost beauty which is the attitude and decorum.
