hehehe yes Bran I did that too using phonecard. And I hated it, they don't seem to follow the exact minutes they tell you.
Like I said, when we switched to Cablevision for our landline, they have an offering of $19.95 flat fee to international calls with 250 minutes regardless what line I call either mobile or landline. So I took it and i'm very happy since then. If I exceed 250 mins.then they will charge me another 19.95 but so far I haven't done it yet.
haha, igsoon, tinuud bitaw!
I remember my parents always asked me to go and get the 'tellibabad' phone card from our local filipino store. Then one time when I bought it, dili ning work--apparently the company closed. lol! I was like wtf? Now we just get Smart Card or Call Asia card at the local Seven Eleven.
Man, i gotta love the indians who own the local seven eleven because they always ask me what country am i calling to. I joke around with them and tell them, "Guess". Hahaha. Yea I'm already digressing from the topic but hey! o well, lol.
Beth, those are really nice rates, man. Do they have like under the table surcharges or no? Thanks, igsoon.
ilang minutes man pod na 5$ na card diay?
Depende, some cards that are $5 allow 50 minutes, then there are cards that allow only 30 minutes.
The card that we use only allows 30 minutes so we usually buy packs of cards, lol. The annoying part is that whenever we call home it takes forever jud to connect. At least 2-3 minutes is waisted just trying to connect.
But okey ra pood so long as we can get to hear our Lolo Ciano's voice
and ang mga pariente. Okey ra man.
