John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.

The 'Tree Man of Java', Dede Koswara

Epidermodysplasia verruciformis

Epidermodysplasia verruciformis (also called Lewandowsky-Lutz dysplasia or Lutz-Lewandowsky epidermodysplasia verruciformis) is an extremely rare autosomal recessive genetic hereditary skin disorder associated with a high risk of carcinoma of the skin.  It is characterized by abnormal susceptibility to human papillomaviruses (HPVs) of the skin.  The resulting uncontrolled HPV infections result in the growth of scaly macules and papules, particularly on the hands and feet.  It is typically associated with HPV types 5 and 8, which are found in about 80% of the normal population as asymptomatic infections, although other types may also contribute.

The condition usually has an onset of between the ages of 1–20, but can occasionally present in middle-age.  It is named after the physicians who first documented it, Felix Lewandowsky and Wilhelm Lutz.  Dede Koswara (his ordeal started when he was 15 and cut his knee where a small wart developed and spread) with the bizarre condition.  Dede expressed that he wants to get better and find a job and hopes that one day he will meet a girl and get married.

"This is the most remarkable case, the most severe case, I have seen in my career," said American doctor Anthony Gaspari at a news conference in Bandung, about a two-hour drive from capital city Jakarta.

For Dede (who is known by his first name), what started as a simple wart on his knee as a teenager spiraled his life out of control when it became infected.  Treelike growths gradually spread all over his legs, arms, chest and face.  He became physically unable to do basic functions and everyday tasks.

As a result of his condition, Dede lost his job, and his wife left him.  He moved in with his parents and has been supported by extended family.  His two kids often visit him at the hospital.

On 26 August 2008, Dede returned home following surgery to remove 6 kg (13 lb) of warts from his body.  The surgery consisted of three steps, read more about it on MFS,with 2 videoclips.

What Kind of Skin Disease Is This?

Man with mysterious skin disease of thousand tumors

Nov 09 2011
Wellsphere

A man named Nguyen Dinh Chieu, 50, in Ngoc Tao commune, Phuc Tho district, Hanoi has had to live in the figure of a “demon” since his birth.

Chieu was born in a farmer family in Ngoc Tao, a poor commune in Ha Tay province (now Hanoi).  He was normal at birth but several days after that, a protuberance which was as big as a soybean appeared on his head. The protuberance grew with the child.  When Chieu was five, that protuberance was as big as a marble and it began to make the boy painful.

Chieu’s parents took him to a local hospital where doctors cut off the protuberance.  Everything was normal for a period of time until real misfortune came to the boy.  A group of small protuberance grew at the scuff of neck.  They developed very fast and spread to the boy’s back, stomach, limbs and face.

In several weeks, Chieu’s body was covered by a different skin which was lumpy like toad skin.  The boy’s parents again took Chieu to the local hospital for treatment.  Chieu stayed in the hospital for a time but doctor could not cure the strange disease.

Chieu was brought to other hospitals but the disease was not cured. Doctors said this is a rare disease. Since then Chieu has been living with his toad skin. The strange disease has turned an agile boy into a bleary man. He now earns his living by collecting waste.

Happiness smiled to this unfortunate man. He met Vu Thi Mo, 49 now, and they got married in 1987. They have two daughters. However, happy time was very short. After a brain accident, Chieu’s wife has been paralyzed while his second daughter is mental-impaired.

This family now relies in Chieu’s waste collecting job.

What Kind of Skin Disease Is This?

The diagnosis is: Epidermodysplasia verruciformis.

This is a very rare genetic disease where in the human individual with this particular strain of genetic defect becomes susceptible to HPV outgrowth.

Unfortunately, there is no permanent treatment to this disease. It is a genetic condition. If they excise these lesions, it will re-grow again. Total curative treatment is impossible because of the possibility of severe blood loss considering the lesions are found throughout the entire body.

There was one who healed these people totally tho. He is Jesus Christ, who healed people with these conditions all throughout Judea.
