Admin help, I think SMF machine has a bug of not checking if an email is a valid email or not.

I updated my profile since it displayed my email address. but then even if i check the "hide your email address" checkbox  my profile would still display with my email address..
  so i ended up using a fictitious email.. a non-existent one.. "heres the  problem" it asked me to validate my updates. now i cant receive the email since i used a fictitious email add..

You can see your own email address but the public can't see it. Try to log out and look into your profile.

Can you PM me your real email address because I will use it for your original profile.
