Local gov't to honor outstanding Cauayenos during 16th cityhood anniversary

CAUAYAN CITY, Isabela, March 9 (PNA) -- The city government here will be honoring outstanding Cauayenos who excelled in their respective fields of expertise during the 16th cityhood anniversary which will be held on March 30.

Sylvia Domingo, City Cooperative Officer of Cauayan City, said the city government will give honor to Cauayenos who have brought prestige and honor in various fields of expertise.

Among the recognitions for outstanding Cauayenos are 1st B.G Dy Public Service Award, 1st B.G Dy Proud Cauayeno Award, City Model Employees, Top 10 Taxpayers award, 5 outstanding barangays and 5 outstanding punong barangays, 5 outstanding barangay kagawad, 5 outstanding barangay secretaries, 5 outstanding barangay treasurers and 5 barangay tanods and Cauayeño centenarians.

Domingo said the Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) Office started to receive nominees to the different categories. Awardees will receive a trophy and cash award from the city government. (PNA)
