At least 25 dead in road accident in eastern Thailand

BANGKOK, Jan. 2 (PNA/Xinhua) -- At least 25 people died after a van collided with a pickup truck and caught fire in Thailand's eastern Chonburi province on Monday.

Rescuers extinguished the flame and found 14 people dead from the van and 11 people dead from the pickup truck.

Only two passengers survived the accident, according to the local media.

The collision happened at about 2 p.m. local time (0700 GMT) on Road 344 in Ban Bung district of Chonburi.

Officials believe that the driver of the van fell asleep while driving and thus caused the tragedy. (PNA/Xinhua)

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
