4 policemen among 10 injured in NW Pakistan blast
ISLAMABAD, Jan. 4 (PNA/Xinhua) -- At least 10 people including four cops were injured when a bomb went off near a police vehicle in Pakistan's northwest Dera Ismail Khan district on Wednesday, local Urdu media reported.
ARY News said the police vehicle was on its routine patrolling when it was targeted by a roadside bomb at Banu Road of Dera Ismail Khan district in the northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
The report added that some unknown militants detonated the roadside bomb with a remote controlled device and managed to flee.
The blast happened near a bus station and the injured people also included the passengers who were waiting for their buses at the station.
All the injured were shifted to District Headquarters Hospital Dera Ismail Khan.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet. (PNA/Xinhua)
