Tips On Writing A Job Application (Cover Letter)
« on: October 15, 2008, 03:24:34 AM »
A Cover Letter should accomplish three objectives:

   1. Create favorable interest
   2. Introduce the resume
   3. Request an interview

To achieve these three objectives, the letter should include some or all of the following information:

Current position

Current industry, if applicable

Field of interest

Experience and/or Education in the field of interest

Specific position or type of position desired

Salary requirements

Knowledge of company and its products

Request for an interview

Mention of the enclosed resume

Remember, a COVER LETTER is an introduction to your resume; it shouldn't be too long.

i have not been using it this way in a long time. this is more apt for private companies, i think.

based on experience of applying in government offices here, dili ni mo-matter nga pamaagi sa pagpang-apply. competency based man god diri. you have to provide evidences for each competency they are looking for.

hinuon, pwede ni sa gitawag ug speculative job application
