Reviewing current Canadian immigration procedures
« on: April 13, 2010, 12:24:34 AM »
Canadian Immigration Minister Jason Kenney announced that the Canadian government has begun the process of reviewing current Canadian immigration procedures, with a view to further streamlining application processing under the Federal Skilled Worker category.

There are currently 38 occupations that determine an individual’s eligibility for immigration to Canada under the Federal Skilled Worker category, and they have been in place since 2008. Those occupations were chosen after Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) consulted carefully with provincial and federal authorities to determine what occupations were most in demand around the country at the time.

Now that the Canadian economy has emerged from the global recession, Canada will be re-examining the labour market and determining which professions are undergoing a shortage of skilled workers. This may alter the list of open occupations.

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
