SUPPORT BOHOLANO MUSIC AND MUSICIANS
Romeo C. Mascariñas is a veteran musician from Tagbilaran City, Bohol, Philippines. Originally a lead guitarist (when he played for Wine & Roses Band in Japan in the late 80s) he switched to being a versatile keyboard player which made him very attractive to younger generation of bands and musicians. His influences range from pop to rock, to jazz and even to the current day hiphop. He currently plays keyboard for the Centerstage Band performing every every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday at the Lazer Disco Pub, Bohol Tropics Resorts, Tagbilaran City.
As a singer-songwriter, he pursued songwriting prowess to an even greater heights when he hooked up with New Orleans-based songwriter, J. Roel Lungay, in 2009, in a musical venture they call "Gone Country!"
Romeo just finished his first project, "BIG BANG!" - after more than 30 years of performing covers - which he hopes to leave as a legacy on "fixed form."
Romeo hopes somebody would be interested in his original works and give him a buzz about the possibility of performing his works. It is his hope that he be received, too, as a musician who didn't just perform somebody else's music but also wrote his own. CHECK IT OUT HERE:
