Another Boholana made it to the international level after she emerged champion in the international speech and first runner-up in the impromptu speech.

A former alumna, a graduate in Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Holy Name University this city and thereafter joined the teaching force as a College instructor of the University of Bohol, has recently made a name for herself and her country in the field of public speaking in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Charity Tan Madera for a number of years after her stint as alumna of Holy Name University and as a faculty member of the University of Bohol went to the United Arab Emirates to look for greener pastures. Landing herself as an assistant to the operations managers to one of the biggest companies in Dubai, she is presently promoted as head operations manager after more years of hard work.

Aside from her hectic schedule of works, she has also found time and busied herself by joining the internationally renowned Toastmasters' Club and joined and participated in contest conducted by the Toastmasters' Club in UAE.

Charity or Chichu as fondly called by her relatives and friends is the daughter of retired Chief Probation and Parole Officer and Diomedes J. Madera, nee Dioscora Tan of Bool, this city.

Recent development cropped up that Chichu wants to celebrate her victory and has invited this month her parents, brother and sister and her three children Jon Matthew, Lauren Elizabeth and Roger John to join her in Dubai for a happy reunion.

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
