Residents here raised alarms on the series of burglaries recently where in one incident, young offenders were involved.
In one of the incidents, Globelines lost 80-meter long cable along the national highway in barangay Tinangnan to still unidentified thieves.
Ernie Oyao, Adan Villanueva and Roldan Maspere, residents of Booy District, Tagbilaran City, all employees of SLL International Cable Specialist, contractor and operational maintenance of Globelines in Bohol reported the incident to police on May 21.
Residents call on the police to act on the series of robberies in this town, which they said had gradually become rampant.
Meanwhile, Holy Cross Academy, again, fall prey to thieves as young as 11 and 16, who took with them an electric motor, pipes and a complete set of amplifiers the other week.
But based on Republic Act 9344, which bill version was sponsored by Senator Francis Pangilinan, no criminal charges were filed against the the juvenile offenders. (with reports from Clariton Remigoso- MPIO)
