The longest English word
« on: June 29, 2007, 09:23:31 PM »
Hey, y'all. A lil less than a year ago, my son (he was 8-yr old then) surprised me with this information:

The longest English word is "pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis."

He could write and speak the word like the speed of light. Gee!

Hazel, you're as quick as the speed of light as well in replying. Supercali...has already been unseated by this new one. And 'twas my 8-y.o. who informed me. Whatta shame on me! :-*
