Here's a game I used to play when I was a kid.  It's a little like TextTwist.  I'll provide a word and you form words from its letters.  Of course, you don't need to use all the letters but you have to time yourself.  I recommend from ten to fifteen minutes.  Merely adding an 's' is not counted unless it's an entirely different word and not just a plural form or a certain tense.  There are no winners here.  You only have the fun of playing the game.  Here's an example on how to play this one:

justice

just, cut, ice, suit, jut, jet, set, site, tie, cite, sit, sect, set

(You probably get it now.)
