What are the new aviation security measures to restrict Liquid, Aerosols and Gels (LAGs)?

LAGs taken through the screening point, must be carried in containers with a capacity no greater than 100ml. LAGs carried in partially filled containers larger than 100ml will not be accepted.
Containers must be placed in a transparent re-sealable plastic bag with a maximum capacity not exceeding 1 liter. The containers must fit comfortably within the transparent bag, which must be completely closed.
Only 1 transparent re-sealable plastic bag will be permitted per guest.
The transparent re-sealable plastic bag must be presented separately for examination at the security screening point.
Exceptions will be made for medications, baby milk/ foods and special dietary requirements in LAGs form.
These items will be subjected to additional checks and verification at the screening point.
Exemptions will also be made for retail liquid items bought at the airport or on-board the aircraft and packed in sealed transparent temper-evident bags by the airport/ airline staff. The receipts shall be clearly displayed in the sealed bag and the date of purchase shall coincide with the date of travel.
